Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board(ASRB), New Delhi is going to organize National Eligibility Test(NET) 2013 examination and for this applications are invited from the side of those candidates who will come under a certain criteria made by ASRB. Educational Criteria for NET: All candidates applying for this examination must possess a Master’s degree or its equivalent in the concerned discipline and must have specialization completed before 1 August 2012.
Age Criteria: Must be greater than 21 years (As on 1 August 2012)
Last Date of Application: 20 November 2012
All interested candidates are required to pay Application Fee Rs. 1000(For General Category), Rs. 500(For OBC Category) and Rs. 250(For SC/ST/PWD Category), for this examination through Demand Draft drawn in favor of Secretary, ASRB and payable at New Delhi.

About NET Examination
National Eligibility Test (NET) is a entrance examination for determining eligibility of the candidates for the posts of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAU) and fir other Agricultural Universities. Those candidates who clear the National Eligibility Test will declare eligible for the Lecturers or Assistant Professors in the SAU/AU. A certificate called NET Certificates will be issued to all the qualifying candidates by the ASRB by which they become table to apply against vacancies to be notified or advertised by the State Agricultural Universities.
